Blog Update

Hello friends! It's been a while since my last blog entry, ack! I have been sharing most of my work on Facebook and Instagram over the past few years, but have recently had more time on my hands to write and reconnect.

If you follow me on IG or FB, you may know that my mom recently had surgery and is still in hospital. That's where this extra writing time comes in...keeps my mind occupied.

I have a few ideas for some upcoming posts, the first of which will be an introduction to wax melts and tarts. They will be offered in the next restock and quite a few people have asked for more information on what they are, how they work, what warmers to use, how to clean them etc.

It's hard to believe that summer is right around the corner. Do you have any summer travel plans? We'll probably be staying close to home this year, but made up for it last year by spending the entire summer in Paris (with a few side trips to London). It was an amazing experience and a great opportunity to "live like the locals". My son (9 years old) had the time of his life and made some friends that he still keeps in touch with today. 

We rented an apartment on one of two tiny natural islands on the river Seine, called Île Saint-Louis. It was idyllic...like living in a small town in the middle of Paris. Such a great experience, I highly recommend it and hope to go back again soon.
