Sea Glass, a CP & MP Drop Swirl Soap

This is my second month participating in the Amy Warden Soap Challenge. Our technique of the month was the Drop Swirl, which could be done using CP or a combination of CP and MP. After seeing the inspiration pics Amy posted, I fell in love with the transparent look of the CP/MP swirl and decided to give it a try (or three ;))...

I also tried my hand at making a video of the process and will upload it as soon as I figure out how to edit in iMovie. If anyone has any suggestions, I'd appreciate them! I did attempt to check out some YouTube tutorials on video editing, but somehow always ended up watching soap making videos instead...oops...they are so much more fun!

I really enjoyed this month's challenge and was super excited to see so many amazing soaps (and soap makers) out there! Thanks for taking the time to check out my creation and thanks again to Amy for hosting another great challenge!

    1. Hi there, yes I made a video and will upload it next week. I also just made a new soap using the same technique and have taken both pics and video to share with you guys too :) Don't get discouraged, it took me three tries before I ended up with this soap. Also be sure to use transparent coloring for your mp swirl. I used Stained Glass Sea Blue-Green from Wholesale Supplies Plus. Hope this helps - would love to see pics of your soap!
