I also tried my hand at making a video of the process and will upload it as soon as I figure out how to edit in iMovie. If anyone has any suggestions, I'd appreciate them! I did attempt to check out some YouTube tutorials on video editing, but somehow always ended up watching soap making videos instead...oops...they are so much more fun!

ReplyDeleteMargo Long
Thank you for the kind words Margo! This was the first soapmaking video I recorded and am still trying to figure out how to edit :) I'll let you know as soon as I create a youtube channel and upload...thanks again!
DeleteDid you do a video? I just tried this technique, and my MP doesn't have that glass look like you do
ReplyDeleteHi there, yes I made a video and will upload it next week. I also just made a new soap using the same technique and have taken both pics and video to share with you guys too :) Don't get discouraged, it took me three tries before I ended up with this soap. Also be sure to use transparent coloring for your mp swirl. I used Stained Glass Sea Blue-Green from Wholesale Supplies Plus. Hope this helps - would love to see pics of your soap!
DeleteJust uploaded pics of the new cp & mp drop swirl soap: http://handmadeinflorida.blogspot.com/2014/03/sun-kissed-cp-mp-drop-swirl-soap.html
