I have been on a mission to find the perfect rose scent and have practically ordered every single rose scented fragrance oil sold in the US, UK and Canada (no exaggeration)!
This soap is made using a concoction of some of my favs...it's sweet and fresh and musky and delicious...reminds me of Lush's "Rose Jam"...mysterious and yummy!
Your colors and swirls are amazing! I am curious what your perfect rose smells like. I normally hate the smell of rose but since I started soaping, I realized that rose can actually smell good. :)
ReplyDeleteThank you Silvia :) I'm on a never-ending quest for the perfect rose...and while this is currently one of my favs, I'll be experimenting with a new formula next week...will keep you posted!
DeleteSo beautiful!!!!! Increadibly-the swirl and the colors-I like this soap very much! I can imagine, how nice it smells!!! Oh, it is perfect :)
ReplyDeleteThank you Saponeta!
DeleteBeautiful! would you share your colors and swirl tip? did you use the hanger for your swirls?
ReplyDeleteAlso I would love to sign up for your blog...how do I do that?
Thank you Linda :) The micas used in this soap were from Nurture Soap Supplies...the darker pink is Fandango and the lighter one is Amaranth Pink, the green is Khaki (the same color used in the Zebra swirl soap). Yes, the swirl technique was the hanger...will try to make another video soon. Thanks for letting me know that the subscribe button wasn't visible! Just added it, along with an email link to make things more user friendly :) Thanks again!

ReplyDeleteIf you don't mind me asking, what kind of mold were you using for this soap? I really like the size.. nice and tall..
Sorry if this is a repeat.... your soap designs are incredible! Can you tell me where you get your titanium dioxide and how you prep it before use? Thanks!
